Interpretation of the data from ESA’s Swarm satellites have concluded that an iron jet stream flows through the the region geologists term as our molten metal core, that the natural wire perhaps goes half way around our globe.

Could there be other geomagnetic possibilities for the magnetic field patterns?

Although the team believes it understands how wide and how long the jet is, the depth to which it descends is far from certain.

Dr Livermore told BBC News: “It currently wraps about 180 degrees around the tangent cylinder. Although observations only constrain the jet stream on the edge of the core, our theoretical understanding suggests that the jet could in principle go very deep indeed – possibly in fact all the way down to the edge of the core in the southern hemisphere (i.e. at the other end of the tangent cylinder).”

Science does not know what is beneath our feet, only in theory. Is the flow due to extrusion of molten metal or the flow of telluric currents through the planets material?

“We know more about the Sun than Earth’s core because the Sun is not hidden from us by 3000 km of rock.” … Phil Livermore from the University of Leeds in the UK and lead author of the paper said, “Thanks to the mission we have gained new insights into the dynamics of Earth’s core and it’s the first time this jet stream has been seen, and not only that – we also understand why it’s there.”

… The jet flows along a boundary between two different regions in the core. When material in the liquid core moves towards this boundary from both sides, the converging liquid is squeezed out sideways, forming the jet.

Could the current flow or the magnetism be due to the potential difference between these theoretical layers?

If a molten iron jet stream in Earth’s core is correct, what has increased the power of the magnetic fields strengths or the current flow of natural electricity?

We find that the jet has increased in magnitude by a factor of three over the period 2000–2016 to about 40 km yr−1, and is now much stronger than typical large-scale flows inferred for the core.

Where has the extra energy come from?

Due to the old theory that all planets were solitary insulated objects in a Gravity Universe and so Earth had to create its own dynamic and varying magnetic field, the changes would have to be internal.

Could these telluric currents and magnetic fields be influenced by external factors? Could they be part of the circuit of an Electric Earth, Electric Solar System and Electric Universe?

Have the European Space Agency and its Swarm mission discovered the reason for our wandering magnetic North and South poles?

We suggest that the current accelerating phase may be part of a longer-term fluctuation of the jet causing both eastward and westward movement of magnetic features over historical periods, and may contribute to recent changes in torsional-wave activity and the rotation direction of the inner core.
