Sandstone arches

Why does the Utah area have so many natural arches, especially sandstone arches?

Zion Canyon and the Zion National Park seems to have a few natural arches made of and into the red Navajo Sandstone.

There are so many natural rock arches in one area they called it the Arches National Park.

Arches contains the world’s largest concentration of natural sandstone arches — more than 2,000 of them — among other uniquely striking rock formations.

If some or most arches are formed by or through Electric Universe geology then how are they created?

Why does sandstone seem to either attract the formation of arches or does it have a predisposition for natural arches? Or is it just due to the material itself?
