Sun and Earth plasma weather model

Scientists have created a theoretical model that will predict the Suns CME's (coronal mass ejection) and so they believe they have a model for the solar weather.

Lots of mention of plasma and electromagnetic sort of things but also, sadly, magnetic reconnections. Good luck with those Sun and CME weather predictions.

The scientists also modeled the conditions that are present in solar magnetic shear -- a sigmoidal twisting of the sun's magnetic field, flux emergence, null formation, torus instability, reconnection and free energy that can cause a CME.
