Comet 67P a type of active asteroid?
Active Asteroids are a newly recognized class of body in the solar system. They are remarkable for having both the orbital characteristics of asteroids and the physical characteristics of comets. What this means is that they look like comets because they show comae and tails but they have orbits interior to Jupiter's and Tisserand parameters substantially larger than 3, like asteroids.

If comets are asteroids then this would be a successful prediction and evidence for the Electric Universe theory. What type of asteroid will comet 67P be? It is considered a Jupiter Family comet. is it an active asteroid? Are all comets active asteroids, no matter what orbit they are on? Are Main Belt Comets (MBCs) just active asteroids?
If asteroids and comets are the same then comet Churyumov–Gerasimenko (67P/C–G) should have some physical (chemical, structure etc) characteristics of asteroids. Or, some other comets and asteroids investigated after will have similar properties to comet 67P.
Science theory predicts that comets are dirty snowballs, ice mountains. They should in no way be similar to asteroids.
In addition to classifications of asteroids based on their orbits, most asteroids fall into three classes based on composition. The C-type or carbonaceous are greyish in color and are the most common, including more than 75 percent of known asteroids. They probably consist of clay and stony silicate rocks, and inhabit the main belt's outer regions. The S-type or silicaceous asteroids are greenish to reddish in color, account for about 17 percent of known asteroids, and dominate the inner asteroid belt. They appear to be made of silicate materials and nickel-iron. The M-type or metallic asteroids are reddish in color, make up most of the rest of the asteroids, and dwell in the middle region of the main belt. They seem to be made up of nickle-iron. There are many other rare types based on composition as well — for instance, V-type asteroids typified by Vesta have a basaltic, volcanic crust.

Comet or Asteroid 67P data
- Comet 67P appears to have a regolith, rocks, boulders, cliffs and craters.
- It is very dark (low albedo) but when asked ESA scientists suggested if it has a colour then it is red. Asteroids are said to turn red with age.
- Comet 67P has a similar shape to Asteroid Itokawa, Comet Hartley 2 and Asteroid Eros (rough peanut or duck shape).
- Comet 67P is a short period comets (orbital period of less than 20 years and a low orbital inclination) and is considered part of the Jupiter Family comet.

Jupiter Family comet. Large asteroid 624 Hektor a D type asteroid, its colour is dark and reddish. A Jupiter Trojan asteroid. Comet 8P Tuttle is but is not a Jupiter family Comet and seems a similar size to comet 67P.
