HH 49/50 - spiraling space tornado (2 trillion miles long) or birkeland current?

Could HH 49/50 (Herbig-Haro object) be caused and explained by a Birkeland Current in an Electric Universe? This would explain why the particles are so energised and how they can spiral and twist yet stay in a shape for over 2 trillion miles (0.3 light year)

You dont appear to be able to have magentic fields in space without electricity, the flow of electrical current.

Cosmic Tornado

Light-years in length, this cosmic tornado is actually a powerful jet cataloged as HH (Herbig-Haro) 49/50. Though such energetic outflows are well known to be associated with the formation of young stars, the exact cause of the spiraling structures apparent in this case is still mysterious. The embryonic star responsible for the 62 mile per second jet is located just off the top of the picture, while the bright star seen near the tip of the jet may just by chance lie along the line of sight. HH49/50 is about 450 light-years distant, located in the Chamaeleon I molecular cloud.

The jet particles stream out of the stars at speeds of more than 100 miles per second and heat the surrounding clouds to an infrared glow that can be detected ...

... Scientists aren't sure what is behind HH 49/50's unique spiral shape. One hypothesis is that magnetic fields in the region are somehow twisting the particle jets; another idea is that the shockwaves are creating eddies in the dust clouds which then glow and become visible.

Scientists also don't know whether the star at the center of the image is associated with HH 49/50 or not.

If it is, then it could mean that the image actually shows HH objects from two stars colliding with each another. The more likely option, scientists say, is that the center star is actually located much further away and only looks like it's associated with HH 49/50 because it happened to be in Spitzer's line of sight when the image was taken ...
