cloud feelers - power lines and points

On Malta we get to see a lot of clouds that appear to be power lines, cloud power line feelers going to or coming from a point in the sky. It may be that we are a small island with lots of sea around it so there is a high potential difference.

But what you sea are long thin lines in the sky with other tendrils or feelers coming off them, or going into them.

They also sometimes appear to come from a point in the sky, a sort of circle which gets larger and larger. Either it creates a lot of weather in the sky or suddenly it and the rest of the clouds will disappear. Has the system or the at level discharged or reached eqilibrium?

this is the point that the line is going into or from, you can see on the other side of it a less defined line but still it goes into the area where the activity is happening. do you get different sides like a positive and negative?

there is a crane in the way of the photos, that is why it does not quite join up!

another interesting large line moving across the sky - is it being pushed or is it being pulled along?

you can see that at the front end of the line, to the right, where it is thinner you have the longer more defined tendrils. at the rear - the power engine or where the energy discharge is occurring it is much thicker and greyer
