Title: the electric sun and stars
Post by: electrobleme on December 12, 2009, 22:35:16

Are the Sun and all stars Electric?

Does the solar wind, both fast and slow types, show that the Sun is electric? We use electromagnets to accelerate particles on earth, CERN for example.

What is plasma-wakefield acceleration?
First conceived in 1979, plasma-wakefield acceleration is a technique being developed to create a future generation of particle accelerators that can reach high energies in short distances.

It works by creating a powerful electric field within a plasma—a form of matter similar to a gas that's commonly used in science and industry. The electric field pulls subatomic particles forward as it pushes them from behind, accelerating them to high energies in a short distance.

...This plasma wakefield experiment created one of the most intense accelerations achieved in a laboratory. However, the technique is not yet ideal because it accelerates some of the electrons more than others, spreading out the electron bunch.

The sun and all stars are made of plasma which is ionised (electrically charged gas). So is "space". Is it an Electric Sun? Is it an Electric Universe.

Here is a discussion about the Electric Sun (http://thunderbolts.info/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2498) on the thunderbolts forum.

suns electric braids (birkeland currents) and plasma

why is the sun hotter the further away you go from it? supposedly you can not have magnetic fields in space without the flow of electricity ...

Our star is powered by magnetic fields--those arcing loops you see on images from SDO and other solar observatories are the result of these fields. Plasma flows along the fields and illuminates them. Images from Hi-C showed where these fields were braided tightly together like rope. When they relax and straighten out, they release energy, which helps drive temperatures up to a toasty 7 million degrees F.
